What we collect

• Account details — your email address, and a display name if you choose one.
• Your play data — which cases you've opened or completed, time taken, evidence you pinned, notes and reasoning you wrote, and badges earned.
• Purchases — what you bought and when, so we can unlock it. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never reach us.
• Session participation — if you join a live teaching session, the facilitator can see that you joined and your display name.

Why we collect it

To give you access to what you bought, save your progress so you can pick a file back up, run live sessions, and answer support questions. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Never send us patient data

Clinical Clues is for fictional cases only. Please do not enter any real patient information, or anything identifying a real person, into notes, reasoning boxes or messages.

Who processes it

We use trusted providers to run the service: a managed cloud database and authentication provider for accounts and progress, a payment provider for checkout, and hosting infrastructure to serve the site. They process data on our instructions only.

How long we keep it

Account and progress data is kept while your account is open. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your profile and progress.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@clinicalclues.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're unhappy with how we've handled things.

Cookies

We use only what's needed to keep you signed in and remember experience settings such as sound. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
