Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who we are
Clinical Clues provides fictional clinical case files for education and revision. By creating an account or buying a case file you agree to these terms.
2. Educational use only — clinical disclaimer
Every patient, ward, clinician, observation and result in Clinical Clues is invented. Nothing on this site is clinical advice, a care pathway, or a substitute for your local policy, your professional judgement or the supervision of a registered practitioner. Never use a Clinical Clues case to make a decision about a real person. Always follow your employer's policies and your professional code.
3. Your licence
When you buy a case file you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it, including printing the Student Pack for your own study. Facilitators with a cohort licence may print and use packs with the students covered by that licence.
You may not:
- share your account or login with anyone else;
- resell, sublicense, or upload case content elsewhere;
- distribute answer keys, facilitator packs or sealed-envelope content to students who haven't yet completed the case;
- use the content to train an automated or AI system.
4. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access. We may suspend accounts used to share paid content.
5. Payments and access
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable tax. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. Purchases are one-off — access to what you bought stays in your account and nothing renews automatically. See the refund policy for cancellations.
6. Availability and changes
We improve cases over time, so wording, documents and layouts can change. We aim to keep the service available but can't promise uninterrupted access. If we ever have to retire a case you've bought, we'll offer a replacement or a refund.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid for the affected case file. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
